The paintings of self-taught, Georgia artist, David Gaither, will be featured in a solo show at this fall at Stella Jones Gallery in New Orleans. Land of Maximalism opens November 18th and will run until December. The opening coincides with Prospect.4 , the New Orleans triennial city-wide exhibition. 

Gaither's paintings used mixed media and collage in bold colors to create images that combine geometric abstraction, landscape, and figurative shapes in tapestry-like design. 25 of Gaither's works will be in the show, including triptychs, tondos, and square canvases.
