Jennifer Odem has been commissioned by Artistic Director Trevor Schoonmaker to create a Tables, Rising sculpture for exhibition at Prospect.4, the international contemporary arts exhibition in New Orleans.

Tables, Rising is made up of seven stacked tables that vary in finish, style, and size. Tables, Rising alludes to the lives and belongings dislocated and destroyed during the levee breaches of 1922 and 1927, when rising Mississippi waters flooded an impoverished rural community.

Prospect.4 will be open to the public from November 11, 2017 - February 25, 2018. More information about the exhibition can be found at www.prospectneworleans.org.
