511 Gallery’s portion of our three-venue exhibition, The Masters: Art Students League Teachers and Their Students will remain on view until December 15th. The Masters: Works on Paper exhibits prints, drawings, and watercolors by major twentieth-century artists who studied or taught at the Art Students League. Artists included are Paul Cadmus, Philip Guston, Romare Bearden, George Grosz, Jan Matulka, Guy Pene du Bois, George Bridgman, Paul Jenkins, Vaclav Vytlacil, Elizabeth Catlett, Peggy Bacon, Margaret DePatta, Robert Smithson, Louise Bourgeois, and Stuart Davis.
