Marian Moratinos

Marian Moratinos is a London-based artist who specializes in sculptures, print-transferred and painted panels, and site-specific works. Much of her artwork focuses on the importance of architecture and the urban landscape to the lives and identities of human beings. Moratinos studied at Universitat Politècnica de València, and has been the recipient of a digital image printmaking grant through the Miró Foundation, as well as the Palma Rotary Club Plastic Arts Grant and the Education and Creation Grant Pilar Juncosa. The artist has exhibited widely throughout Europe, with solo exhibitions at Galería Astarté in Madrid, Spain, Galería Altair in Mallorca, Spain, as well as the Slade School of Fine Arts and The Stow Brothers, both of which are in London, England. She has also participated in several international art fairs, including ARCOmadrid, Shanghai Art Fair, ArtExpo Barcelona, and ART COLOGNE. Most recently, her work appeared in the traveling international group show MataOmbres and at the Rafa Nadal Foundation in Anantapur, India where she has a mural permanently installed.
